It is observed from 7 to 28 days after exposure to the parasite:

Common Symptoms

   •Weight loss

   •Anemia

   •Indigestion

   •Violent diarrhea

   •Dehydration

Unrelated Symptoms

   •Fever

   •Chills

   •Pain in the upper right 

    portion of the abdomen

   •Nausea and vomiting

   •Hepatomegaly
